Carolyn Was Just a Girl What Caroline told me next was shocking. She said, yes, I saw the house you're describing. She was in her seventies and had lived a great deal but also tended to tell stories and some of them seemed as if they were whoppers. But she pulled a source that was unimpeachable. Photos from 1957 which clearly show the house and its individuals. Few photos exist because J. Willis Hughes was notoriously private and there are reasons why.
